Designed by the world renowned, Lanzarote born architect and designer Cesar Manrique; Loma verde apartments in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote are located just above the Old Town the development has a large communal swimming pool and separate childs pool. The views out to sea are truly amazing panoramic sea views. The complex was refurbished 2007 and is an excellent place to stay for couples and families.
The apartment is south facing and directly in front of the pool on the ground floor. Outside the front of the apartment is a 17sq m terrace with table chairs, sun loungers that receives the sun all day. There is also a BBQ area.
The apartment has a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances including oven, hob, a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and chrome fixtures with a granite work surface top.
There Loung is open plan with the dining area. A large sofa in the lounge converts into a double bed, Satellite TV has a variety of English channels and there is also a dvd player that plays cd's and mp3's on disc with a selection of films included. There is also a selections of books and games.
The bedroom consists of 2 single beds with a large wardrobe and bedside cabinet. The apartment has a safe and hair dryer.
The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
There is also an enclosed utility room to the rear of the apartment with washing machine, iron, ironing board and extra storage space for luggage cases etc.
The apartment sleeps 2 to 4 with twin beds and double pull out sofa, a travel cot is is also available for infants.
Recommendations / Local Activity:
The apartment is situated in the old town of Puerto Del Carmen which has a lovely harbour area. There are a large selection of bars and restaurants offering all type of cuisine alongside the local canarian dishes. Puerto del Carmen 'New Town' is only a short walk away and consists or more lively bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a casino. The local major shopping centre 'The Biosphere' is only 5 mins walk away with lots of shops and activities for children.
The beautiful are of Puerto Calero is also only a short drive away by car or cheap in a taxi and is worth a visit to the boutiques there or just to see the luxurious yachts and boats. The closest a golf course is located at Costa Teguise a short drive away while other attractions include; Fire Mountain, Cactus Gardens and the water park which are too only a short drive away.
Regular excursions by coach to all these attractions run locally.
